Wellness® CORE & Complete Health Brand Videos
While working at Wellness, the team identified a significant need to create videos for our individual brands to feature on various retailer and e-commerce sites. This need became apparent when we learned that our product listings were being penalized due to a lack of video content. My role was to develop a solution that would work across multiple sub-brands while remaining resource-efficient. As the sole designer handling video, I aimed to create a visually compelling video structure that effectively showcased product benefits and packaging while being easy to adapt and edit quickly for use across various sub-brands.
My solution was to develop a dynamic video using a combination of animation, renderings, and b-roll footage. By utilizing Adobe Illustrator and After Effects, I ensured that files could be easily duplicated, with colors, renderings, and text modified without the need to reanimate an entirely new video.
The results were highly effective. I initially created the video for CORE, producing two 30-second videos highlighting the Wholesome Grain and Grain-Free lines. Later, I adapted the video to showcase both Dog and Cat Complete Health. Additionally I created 15-second versions to serve as additional online advertising assets.
These videos were designed not only for product PDP pages across various retailers but also for use on YouTube, the company website, and major trade shows such as Global Pet Expo and SuperZoo.
I believe it’s crucial for videos like these to be engaging and dynamic while also being designed for versatility. They should be easily adaptable to different needs—whether repurposed for another sub-brand or updated to reflect changes in brand messaging.

E-Commerce Panel Videos
At Wellness, I played a key role in developing training videos designed to educate our retailer partners and their employees. These videos provided in-depth insights into our product lines, highlighting their unique benefits to help retailers confidently guide customers in choosing the right pet nutrition solutions.
As the demand for digital content grew, we recognized an opportunity to extend these educational resources directly to consumers. In 2022, I led an initiative to adapt training videos for e-commerce platforms, transforming them into engaging, consumer-friendly content that provided valuable product information while shoppers browsed online.
Through this project, I helped bridge the gap between education and commerce, ensuring that both retail teams and pet owners had the knowledge they needed to make informed purchasing decisions.

Product Teaser Videos
Global Pet Expo and SuperZoo are the two largest pet-focused trade shows in the United States. Each year, Wellness sets up a booth with multiple monitors to showcase new products, video clips, and other relevant information to capture the attention of retailers and visitors.
During my time at Wellness, I was responsible for compiling all video content, including b-roll footage, recent photography, and other visually engaging assets created since the previous show. Additionally, I developed new video materials to announce product launches, packaging updates, and other important brand developments.
2024 was a significant year for Wellness, marked by the launch of new products and refreshed packaging. The company introduced updated packaging for the entire Old Mother Hubbard and WHIMZEES lines, along with a new product for each brand. Additionally, they launched a new wet cat food brand, Appetizing Entrées, as well as two new cat treats, Kittles and Lickables.
By the time the 2024 Global Pet Expo arrived, only limited product shoots had been conducted, restricting the available footage and photography for announcing these launches at the show. To address this, I created short, animation-based videos for each product, highlighting key selling points through a combination of renderings, brand illustrations, video, and photography wherever possible.
These projects were created using Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere.

WHIMZEES New Look Videos for Target
In 2022, Wellness designed and unveiled new packaging to bring its WHIMZEES and Old Mother Hubbard brands under the Wellness master brand umbrella. Target, one of the largest retailers to carry these products, featured both fall and winter special edition items—consumer favorites.
To help shoppers easily recognize the updated packaging when selecting their pets' favorite treats, I created three short videos to announce and highlight the packaging changes, which were featured on their PDP pages.
